A series of bomb attacks across Iraq killed a minimum of 12 persons and injured 64 others on today, security and medical officials said.
The most harmful of the blasts took place in Dujail, 60 kms (35 miles) north of Baghdad, where 2 car bombs minutes apart killed 7 persons. Another 5 persons died in a car bomb in Hilla, south of the capital.
Bombings also took place in Hawija and Karbala.
There were no deaths in Hawija, but 17 persons were injured in Karbala.
