It’s been almost a week since two Pakistani boys, 17-year-old Azhar and 10-year-old Zoheb, crossed over to India by digging a trench under the border fencing at Munabao. The kids took this step after they had a fight with their parents. They’re now in police custody in Barmer, Rajasthan. But now, they wish they had never left home. The children, who belong to the town of Tando Allah Yar in Sindh province of Pakistan, miss their families, their homes. On the other side of the border, their relatives too are upset and worried. They wish their children soon return home - safe and sound. ‘My children have made a mistake and now everyone is facing a problem because of this. Everyone is worried,’ says Azra, Azhar’s mother, the Indian NDTV reported, that arranged a telephonic conversation in which the children spoke to their parents and apologised for running away from home. For their relatives, it was truly an emotional moment. Zoheb’s sister Amaara almost broke into tears while speaking to her brother. After this conversation, the their families are hoping that the kids return home soon. But will their prayers be answered
