Three killed, two injured in Jackobabad clash

As many as three people were killed and two other injured in a clash between the tribes of Jhakrani and Khosa in the limits of Nabi Shah police station of Shikarpur near Jackobabad on Tuesday.

According to police, the incident happened when the armed men from Jhakrani tribe attacked Goth Dad Mohammed Khosa and started firing, which was soon retaliated by the Khosa tribe.

In the exchange of gunfire, three men, Wali Mohammed Khosa, Mohammed Omer Khosa and Darya Khan Khosa, died on the spot; whereas, the two men from Jhakrani tribe, Pir Mohammed and Amir Hussein were injured.

The gunfire continued for at least two hours. Lucky Ghulam Shah police arrived on the spot and took control of the situation. The dead bodies and injured were shifted to Taluka Hospital Lucky Ghulam Shah.

According to police the incident was caused by the long-standing enmity between the two tribes.
