Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians (PPP) leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim said Friday that a two point formula for the nomination of Prime Minister slot aims to lessen the pressure from Asif Ali Zardari and would help him to decide nomination of Prime Minister slot.Talking to private news channel he said now it is upto Asif Ali Zardari that on which point he shows his willingness.I have presented a two point formula to Asif Ali Zardari for nomination of Prime Minister slot. Now it is upto him to accept anyone of them”, he said.
Amin Fahim, however, denied to give details of the formula.When asked about any contact by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari regarding invitation to Islamabad on the occasion of announcing PM name, he replied that he had not yet received any request in this regard, however he categorically stated that whenever he gets an invitation he would surely love to visit Islamabad.

President, Pakistan Peoples Party Makhdoom Amin Fahim said that if President Musharraf will invite him to form government he will co-ordinate with party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari.
Talking to the media in front of parliament house he said that he supports his party and his party supports him.
He further said that he never had strained relationship with Asif Zardari. He added that when the prime minister name will be announced he will look into the matter.

PPP leader Makhdoom Amin Fahim did not write ‘brother of Benazir’ at the register during the meeting of PPP’s parliamentary party as he was directed to do. According to sources, all the male PPP members were advised to write ‘brother of Benazir’ and female members to write ‘sister of Benazir’ at the register. All the party MNAs complied with the directives; however, Makhdoom Amin Fahim did not write ‘brother of Benazir’.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior vice chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim has termed this presumption, saying the speaker and the prime minister could not be from same province, wrong. Talking to the newsmen here out side the National Assembly, Fahim said that there was no set norm making it mandatory for the prime minister and the speaker should come from separate provinces. Elaborating this he said that this theory was wrong that if the speaker was from one province, then the PM could not be from the same province. He further said that if President Pervez Musharraf invited for the formation of the government, then he would talk to party co-chairman Asif Zardari. He said, “Why should I raise objection, when making Yusuf Raza Gilani PM was not even sounded.”

Pakistan People’s Party Senior Vice Chairman, Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Monday night said that he is ready to support PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari as next prime minister of Pakista He was talking to media after one on one meeting with PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. Fahim said that the PPP co-chairman would consider the proposal and let him know about his decision on Tuesday early morning. He said that he would decide about himself after the decision of Asif Ali Zardari. Fahim said that he fully supports the party decision regarding nomination of speaker and deputy speaker in National Assembly, TV channel added.
APP ADDS: Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians President Makhdoom Amin Fahim has dismissed the rumours of making any forward bloc in Sindh Assembly and said the party would remain united as there is no rift between the leadership.
“I am not forming any forward bloc, all such reports are baseless,” he told mediapersons outside Parliament on Monday. He further clarified that neither he nor his like minded persons were active to form a coalition government with Mutahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) or other party after creating forward bloc.
“I don’t indulge in ‘if or else’ assumptions and want to categorically say that PPP is united and we would keep it united,” he said in reply to a question regarding future of the party. He said PPPP would unveil its premiership candidate within a couple of days.

People’s Party leader Makhdoom Amin Faheem Monday said he didn’t commit any betrayal and won’t quit the party.
Talking to newsmen after his arrival to attend the opening session of the newly elected National Assembly Amin Faheem said he didn’t commit any disloyal act against the party.
Makhdoom said Asif Ali Zardari should preside over the parliamentary meeting of the party today. Responding to a question about banners against him outside the parliament lodges, Amin Faheem said he would ask about it from Asif Zardari adding that action should be taken against the people responsible for it. Pakistan People’s party (PPP) Vice-Chairman Makhdoom Amin Fahim has sent his resignation from his seat PS-44 to party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday. Amin Fahim will keep his seat NA-218. Makhdoom Amin Fahim further said it is nothing but a rumour that he is no more running for the premiership, adding he is still the candidate for the top position of the country. ‘I am not attempting any division in the party,’ he added.

Senior leader of the PPP and Chairman PPP-P Makhdoom Amin Fahim said he was not included by the party Co-Chairman Asif ALi Zardari that met with the PML-N leadership in Murree. Talking to a local TV channel, he questioned, ‘Who told Asif Ali Zardari that I had personal engagements and could not attend the meeting with the PML-N leadership.’
Makdoom Amin Fahim said that he could not forcefully attended that crucial meeting between allied parties once his name was not included in the party members list that met Nawaz Sharif at his residence in Murree. Earlier, replying to a question about Makhdoom Amin Fahim’s absence in the meeting Asif Ali Zardari said: “This meeting is too small for him to attend and he has some personal engagements that is why he could not attend the meeting.”Some party sources, however, said that the differences are widening between the two over the issue of nomination for the slot of Prime Minister, as Makhdoom wants to lead the future cabinet.
