Swat: Sixth day of operation, five more schools destroyed

Operation continued here on Monday for the sixth day while dozens of schools were set on fire by militants throughout the district.

Security forces continue hitting suspected positions of militants in Peuchar, Gatshor, Sejbarb, Namal and other areas.

The militants destroyed more than 60 girls schools in different parts of the valley.

ISPR Incharge Major Farooq said that curfew would be relaxed from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at Mangora-GT Road whereas other areas of district would remain under curfew.
