South Africa win toss decide to field

Graeme Smith, captaining South Africa for the 100th time won the toss and asked Pakistan to make 1st use of the wicket in the Second test at Newlands, Capetown.

Pakistan has made a few changes to the squad that lost the 1st test match. Tanveer Ahmed and Mohammad Irfan have changed wounded Junaid Khan and Rahat Ali. Mohammad Irfan will be making his test debut. South Africa has named the same squad.

The 1st hour would be vital for the Pakistan batting as the ball is expected to swing and seam in the morning time. South Africa has a outstanding history on this ground. Eversince making a comeback into test cricket 1991, they’ve won 20 of the 25 tests played here.
