South Africa demolish New Zealand

South African quick bowler Vernon Philander has started the new year in top form after taking 5 wickets to help dismiss Black Caps for 45 in the 1st session of the 1st Test at Newlands on today.

New Zealand were left reeling after Philander ran rampant to dismantle the guests top order. Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel got the remaining wickets with 2 and 3 scalps respectively and the whole squad was demolished for 45 in 19.2 overs only.
