Bangladesh cricket chiefs mentioned yesterday that Pakistan had turned down to release any of its players for the BPL which starts this week after a planned bilateral series had to be scrapped.
Pakistan had been because of host Bangladesh for a Twenty20 match and a 50-over match in Lahore this month in what would’ve been its 1st home internationals since a critical attack on the Sri Lankan squad bus nearly 4 years back.
But the Bangladesh Cricket Board postponed the tour, saying Pakistan wasn’t secure for its players.
As per a BCB spokesperson, Pakistan has now responded by preventing any of its players from competing in the BPL which starts Thursday.
