Leader of the House in Senate Raza Rabbani on Monday said Pakistan’s sovereignty will not be compromised at any cost.
Talking to private TV, he said, “The government is very clear that Pakistan’s sovereignty will not be compromised at any cost and nobody will be allowed to violate territorial and political sovereignty of the country.”
“We are not accepting anybody’s right of hot pursuit as it is against the international law,” he added.
He said if coalition forces have any intelligence they should share with Pakistan and only Pakistan forces will carry out operation inside the country, if required.
To a question, he said, the government had strongly reacted to the missile attack and both the houses have passed resolutions against the attack.
He added that US ambassador was summoned to the foreign office while Pakistan ambassador to US has also taken up the issue with US authorities.
