Six more militants killed in Bajaur

Security forces have killed at least six more militants and wounded several others in Bajaur Agency early on Saturday.

According to sources, security forces targeted the several positions of militant hideouts using jet fighters and helicopter gunships in Chaharmang, Sarlara, Loisam and Anzri areas in Bajaur, killing six militants and injuring several others.

More than 1500 militants have been killed so far in two and half months long military operation in Bajaur Agency.

On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of people have started fleeing from the troubled tribal region to safe places in the wake of rising clashes between militants and security forces.
