Group of six newly elected independent candidates of Balochistan Assembly headed by Sardar Aslam Bizinjo on Tuesday evening announced to support unconditionally PPP for forming a coalition government in the province.
Aslam Bizinjo made the announcement while addressing press conference here at a local hotel. He was accompanied with PPP leaders Nawab Aslam Raisani and Syed Khurshid Shah. Other members of the group and newly elected independent candidates Shah Nawaz Marri, Sardar Rustam Jamali, Qambar Khan Gichki and Zahoor Ahmed were also present on the occasion. While the fifth elected candidate Sardar Bakhtiar Domki was not present. Aslam Bizinjo said that Bakhtiar Domki is included in the group and permitted him on phone to announce his support for PPP for formation of the government. Besides, the sixth elected independent candidate from Nasirabad Zahoor Ahmed Khosa is also integrated with the group, he added. He expressed the hope that two more independent candidates will also join the group for supporting the PPP in the House. However, the independent candidates did not announce to join PPP.He said PPP is a democratic party and martyred Benazir herself had announced that her party would resolve all political issues through political dialogue in the province. She had resolved that her party would hold dialogues with those people who are sitting in the mountains and release all prisoners.
He said that PML-Q is not any political party rather it is a group of personalities. He fulminated against the PML-Q for launching operation during its government in Balochistan.Speaking on the occasion, PPP leader Syed Khurshid Shah lauded the nomination of his party leader Nawab Aslam Raisani as parliamentary leader in the assembly.He claimed that party has got support of sufficient number of candidates for forming a coalition government in the province. He, however, refused to disclose names and comment on number of the candidates.
He said that his party will hold talks with its central leaders for resolving financial problems and improving financial conditions of the province.
