Sher Afgan complains rigging, requests re-elections in NA-72Former Federal Minister Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi, who was defeated in NA-72 Mianwali, lodged an application to hold re-election, as in his view the elections in his constituency were rigged. Sher Afgan submitted his application to the secretary Election Commission, in which he provided the rigging written proofs.
In his application, he said that his rival candidate got fake votes cast in the ballot boxes and the stamps which could be seen on the rejected votes are different from the those provided by the EC and their ink also was different. Sher Afgan requested the EC to conduct inquiry into the rigging and issue orders of re-election in his constituency NA-72.
