Former federal minister Sheikh Rashid has said he was not angry over his first election defeat in life. “It is people’s verdict which should be accepted cheerfully.”
former minister said the new assembly and President Musharraf couldn’t work together for long. “President Musharraf is ready to work with them. One of the two have to go if the situation remains unchanged,” Rashid said.
“ I doesn’t see any change in attitude of Nawaz Sharif. He has no role in the assembly he should prepare for the next election,” the former minister further said. “The members of newly elected assembly could not survive with the channels more than six months, while we had carry on for five years,” he added.
Rashid said he had opposed nomination of Shaukat Aziz as minister of finance and prime minister in former setup.
