Shahbaz to turn CM house into women university

Shahbaz Sharif said Monday that he will try his best to rise to the expectations of the house and the people of Pakistan.Addressing PA session after taking vote of confidence, he thanked all the MPAs who reposed confidence in him. He mentioned special thanks for the coalition partners including PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. Shahbaz said women account for over 50 percent of Pakistan and their contribution in the economy of Pakistan is phenomenal and very productive. He urged the women of Pakistan to come forward and plan to play a full-fledged role in nearly all the fields in accordance with Islamic principles. Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader announced to make the CM House exposed by Dost Mohmmed Khosa an IT university for women.

He said, ‘We will not let any stumbling block to come in our way and make our province to progress by leaps and bounds.’

Addressing the minorities, he said, ‘You are the equal citizens of Pakistan in the light of Islam and the sayings of Qauid-e-Azam Mohammed Ali Jinnah.’

Commenting on the education, Shahbaz said a committee would be made to mull over the contract teachers, adding efforts would be made to bring new and good teachers.

Speaking about the dropout rate in rural areas, he said statistics are horrible announcing that strategy would be made to ensure that no child is left without being schooled by 2010.
