Seven died in storm related incidents

Seven people died in various storm related incidents here on Friday evening. Dust storm lashed the textile city here in the evening. It was followed by thundering, lightening and light rain. Three incidents of wall collapse reported while neon signs, boards, hoardings, trees and window pans of multi-storey plazas were smashed inflicting minor injuries to the passers-by.
Storm also disturbed electricity supply as overhead wires were broken while in some parts transformers were burnt.
