Security operation in Fata ‘useless’: Imran Khan

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Chief Imran Khan has said that the security operations against militants in Fata are useless.

Talking to newsmen in London on Wednesday, Imran said, “the issue of militancy can be resolved through dialogue the ‘war on terror’ is not the war of Pakistan but it started operations in Fata and trapped in the net”.

He said that the claims of the government of failure of dialogues are not correct and dialogue can not be successful in one day. He while stressing on the government said to firmly stand on dialogue and reject US pressure.

He said the rumours that the militants are about to capture Peshawar are incorrect. “If dialogue were failed then more suicide attacks would taken place this year as compared to earlier ones”, he observed.
