A search operation is underway for the recovery of missing Pakistani ambassador to Afghanistan Tariq Azizuddin on Tuesday. Tariq Azizuddin was abducted yesterday from tehsil Jamrood of Khyber Agency. Meanwhile, Khasadar force started search operation in Terah Bazar area and set up blockade at all roads leading towards Terah Bazar before starting the operation. There are reports that the vehicle of abducted Pakistani diplomat was seen in Terah Bazaar Zakhakhel, after which a massive search operation has been started in the area. Political administration said that vehicle search is underway at police pickets set up in these areas and patrolling of Khasadar Force has been increased. Political administration has summoned a jirga of tribal notables of tehsil Jamrood, Landi Kotal and Bara in Jamrood.
