SC full court session concludesThe meeting of Supreme Court full bench came to an end on Tuesday with Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar in the chair. The CJP called the full court session yesterday. The decisions made in the meeting would be announced in a press release afterwards. According to the sources, the full court session mulled over the present judicial situation at large. Besides, decisions were made regarding administrative and judicial affairs. The sources said the session also discussed to clear the cases pending in the courts. The session also granted the up-gradation of pay-scale of the employees. It should be mentioned that this would be the first full court session of the judges after November 3 last year. The legal experts are giving much importance to the judges meeting under the present circumstances. Talking to journalists, Attorney General of Pakistan Malik Qayyum said the session would mull over the national situation and has no special significance, adding the judges cannot be restored with the simple majority, as it needs two-third majority to amend the constitution.
