Raja Pervez Ashraf survives emergency landing
Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday was saved from a incident during an official visit as the helicopter due to technical problem crash landed.According to details, the minister on Saturday morning visited site of Bhasha dam by a Cabinet Division’s helicopter alongwith Secretary Water and Power Ismail Qureshi, Chairman Wapda Shakeel Durrani and Member Water Razik Shah when the technical problem occurred in the helicopter.However the Pilot Colonel Asad safely landed the helicopter at Dhamial Camp base despite failure of one engine and flew from Northern Areas to Rawalpindi and crash landed. Ashraf has ordered an inquiry to determine the causes of the incident.
