Qureshi assures safe recovery of abducted Afghan envoy

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday has contacted his Afghan counterpart and has assured him safe recovery of abducted Afghan envoy.

According to foreign office spokesman, Qureshi strongly condemned the kidnapping of Afghan envoy said Pakistan will take all necessary measures for the safe release for its abducted ambassador Abdul Khaliq Farahi in Pakistan.

Qureshi also expressed his grief over killing of driver.

It may be mentioned here that some unidentified gunmen had abducted Afghan ambassador to Pakistan and killed his driver in an ambush from Peshawar on Monday.
