The printing work of more than 150 million ballot papers has been kickstarted today (Monday) for the general elections on January 8.
Printing Corporation of Pakistan has been assigned the printing task to complete by January 5.
According of Election Commission sources, the forms containing the names of candidates and their respective election symbols have been sent to the five press offices of the printing corporation.
There are more than 81 million voters eligible to cast their vote in the recent election.
According to Secretary Election Commission, there are more than seven thousand candidates in the run for seats in National and Provincial Assemblies.
