President to call NA in 10 to 12 days: spokesman
President’s spokesman Major General Rashid Qureshi (Retd) said that President Pervez Musharraf has been elected for five years and he will call for National Assembly within 10 to 12 days. While answering a question Qureshi said that President Musharraf has not given any statement regarding his resignation. He said that everything will be well organised and for the National Assembly notifications have been issued to the candidates after which minorities and women candidates will be elected then that notification will be send to parliamentarian division which will send that notification to the caretaker prime minister Mohammadmian Soomro and finally that notification will be send to President Pervez Musharraf after which he will call for National Assembly. He added that this procedure will take 10 to 12 days.
