President, PM condemns Islamabad blast

President Pervez Musharraf and Caretaker Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro in different statements strongly condemned the attack on a restaurant in the federal capital that killed and injured some foreigners and local people here on Saturday. Musharraf reiterated the resolve of the government and the people of Pakistan to continue the war against terrorism and said the nation remains determined and will not yield to such dastardly acts. He conveyed his deep regrets and sorrow over the loss of life and sympathies for the injured. Soomro has directed the authorities to take stringent measures and increase security in the capital.
