President is symbol of federation, says Gillani

Prime Minister Syed Yousf Raza Gillani has said that President is a symbol of federation and a person who will strengthen the federation and democracy and for that Asif Ali Zardari is the best option.

Prime Minister was speaking at the reception organized in his honor here from Chief Minister Sindh, Qaim Ali shah here Friday at Chief Minister house, Gillani said that after the death of Benazir Bhutto, Asif Ali Zardari was the person who helped Pakistan federation remain united so he is the best person for Presidency.

PM said that Asif Ali Zardari candidature has the support of almost every political party and all political workers  in the country, he hoped that people who at this point in time not supporting Zardari will be giving votes to him on the day of presidential election.

He said that in order to maintain political stability in the country, which at this point in time is the most needed thing for the country, the President and the Prime Minister should be of same political party.
