President appoints two judges as members of EC

The President of Pakistan on Saturday appointed Justice Ghulam Dastagir Shahani of Sindh High Court and Justice Jehan Zaib Rahim of Peshawar High Court as Members of the Election Commission with immediate effect.

The President, in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 218 (2) (b) of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has made their appointments, says a notification issued here by Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
