Presidency denies Musharraf-Kayani meeting

President Spokesman Major General Rashid Qureshi (retd) on Friday contradicted a news report appeared in a section of the press that a meeting took place between President Pervez Musharraf and Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at the Aiwan-e-Sadr on Thursday.
While clarifying the report, the Spokesman said that neither the COAS visited the Aiwan-e-Sadr nor the meeting took place. Factually the report is incorrect he added.
The Spokesman further said that media should contact him to confirm about the President engagements before publishing or airing such reports.
