PPP, people want Nawaz, says Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Qureshi said that Mian Nawaz Sharif is needed by both people and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Addressing Pakistan community at a dinner organized in his honour, he said Charter of Democracy (CoD) would be implemented.

He said he would go to London to meet Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Mian Nawaz Sharif.

The FM said the people who were targeted in Balochistan and NWFP in past, are patriot and the PPP has formed the government in concert with them.

Shah Mahmoud Qureshi maintained that Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) offered him the office of chief minister of Punjab; however, he did not compromise on principles and sided with the PML-N.
