Pakistan People’s Party government committed to strenghten the democratic set up and would not destabilize the government of Punjab

While talking to a private TV channel Advisor to Prime Minister Mian Manzoor Ahmed Watto said President Asif Ali Zardari has been in favour of national reconciliation and he wants to take all the parties along.

He said the situation in Punjab is not that bad as the PML-N has not asked the PPP to withdraw its members from Punjab cabinet.

He said the party in power in Punjab has the right to consolidate itself, and the party having power in the center also has the same right. The PPP has not created any forward bloc of the PML-Q, he added.

Replying to a question he said it is no qualification that a person is expert in political manoeuvring, but the national service is the real merit.

To another question he said, “I have no reservations about Pervaiz Elahi, and I believe, he too has no problem with me”, he added.
