Canadian govt called Tehrik e Minhajul Quran Chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on February 5 to clarify an infringement of the oath he’d taken while seeking asylum there.
Tahir-ul-Qadri had sought asylum in Canada in 2008, saying there were risks to his life.
TMQ leader finished his protest launched in Islamabad targeted at ousting the govt after he signed a deal with a govt team on Thursday.
However, TMQ’s spokesperson Qazi Faiz Islam speaking with media rejected the reports, indicating that Tahirul Qadri never make false claims with the Canadian govt.
The reports regarding summoning of Tahir-ul-Qadri by Canadian govt are baseless, he added.
