Supreme Court concludes Pervez Musharraf treason case hearing

The Supreme Court of Pakistan has completed hearing the identical applications seeking treason trial of ex- army chief General (retd) Pervez Musharraf Thursday while the order will be issued later.

A three-judge SC bench headed by Justice Jawwad S Khawaja was hearing the case today where the concerned sides done their arguments. The court is because of issue the judgment later to ascertain if high treason procedures can be started against Pervez Musharraf.

During today’s hearing, Attorney General Munir A Malik told the court that a time frame will be set for the FIA team tasked to conduct inquiry into the acts of the ex- army chief that led to the imposition of emergency on Nov. 3, 2007.
