The Pakistan Railways rejected a request of Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran (TMQ) to run special trains and attach extra coaches for its proposed Jan 14 long march on Islamabad.
The TMQ asked for Railways department to run special trains from Quetta, Karachi and to attach extra passenger coaches to the trains.
The Railway administrators said they excused from assisting the TMQ as the department neither had engines nor had extra coaches for the purpose.
The TMQ called the Railways rejection as excess and said if the department was short of engines it should at least attach extra bogies.
