PM Raja Pervez Ashraf took notice of press reports that there was fuel shortage in the country and questioned Dr Waqar Masood Khan, Secretary Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources to submit a report.
The Secretary told the Prime Minister that there was no fuel shortage in the country and only a few issues have been made in Islamabad where, because of fog, deliveries couldn’t have reached in time.
The scenario, the Secretary told, has now enhanced as deliveries are now reaching fuel stations.
The Prime Minister instructed the Secretary Petroleum to regularly monitor the petrol supply in the country and be sure its consistent supply to the buyers.
