PML-Q not interested in joining government: Faisal Saleh

faisal-salehParliamentary Leader of Pakistan Muslim League?Quaid Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat said on Tuesday that his party was not interested in entering the corridors of power and the parties given mandate in 2008 election should try to come up to the expectations of the masses. Taking part in the debate over the Punjab situation after disqualification of Sharif brothers,he said that almost one year has passed since induction of new democratic governments last year but the people’s hopes of change have not come true.He said that the PPP and PML?N were given mandate to end unemployment,control inflation and control lawlessness but achievement of this target was still far from reality. Speaking about one?year performance of the National Assembly he said that it has failed to do any worth?mentioning legislation so far.

Faisal Saleh said that it was unfortunate that some people talk about their mandate but they created a forward bloc in the PML?Q and still they claim support of the defecting Q MPAs. “How they will feel if a forward bloc is created in PML?N now.The principles should be the same for all”,he stressed.He made it clear that his party was not in favour of the imposition of Governor Rule in the Punjab.He said that the political forces should learn lessons from the past mistakes.He said that the legacy of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto should be followed.

Earlier initiating the debate for the day,Parliamentary Leader of Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) Munir Orakzai said that the people of the country hoped last year that the two major political parties PPP and PML?N would work together to steer the country out of the present crisis. He said that FATA members were ready to work for reconciliation between the PPP and PML?N.He said that on March 5,the FATA MNAs would meet Nawaz Sharif in this regard.
