Plea seeking contempt proceeding against Chief Minister Sindh filed

An application seeking contempt of court proceeding against Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah has been submitted in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Applicant Syed Mehmood Akhtar Naqvi filed that conduct of superior judiciary couldn’t be debated in the assembly, adding that the chief minister stated during the Sindh Assembly session that the court was predetermined in passing the judgment in Abbas Town suo moto case as he wasn’t heard by the bench. He stated the Anwar Mansoor had appeared before the top court to represent the Sindh govt

The applicant prayed the court to start contempt of court proceedings and treason
