Constitution doesn’t restrict dual-nationality: Tahirul Qadri

Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran Leader Tahirul Qadri mentioned that dual-nationality wasn’t a crime in Pakistan nor was it disallowed in the constitution.

Talking with the press outside the Supreme Court after the hearing of his case seeking the reconstitution of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Tahirul Qadri said he’d accept whatever verdict was given by the court.

As per Tahirul Qadri, during proceedings the Chief Justice said that his (Tahirul Qadri’s) application had already been accepted for hearing and notices had been given to parties in the case.

In respond to a question the Tehreek-e-Minhajul Quran leader mentioned that it’s the right of the Supreme Court to raise questions about dual nationality.
