CNIC a must for marchers to enter Islamabad: Interior Minister

Minister for Interior Abdul Rehman Malik on yesterday chaired a high level gathering here to review plans for the rally of Tehreek Minhajul Quran in the Federal Capital.

The meeting made a decision that special enclosures would be organized for the rally and the members would be needed to be peaceful and remain inside the enclosures.

All those entering Islamabad for long march will be subjected to possession of correct CNICs and all buses will have to have correct paperwork without any lacuna.

It’s also opted that an undertaking would have to be signed by the owners of the transport that the holder, driver and conductor would be held accountable if any terrorist was identified in the van and blast in the car.
