PML-Q, allies to hold crucial meeting today
The Pakistan Muslim League-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain will hold a meeting with its allies on Tuesday to discuss a strategy with regard to the role as opposition in the incoming assemblies. MQM, National People’s Party (NPP) and PML-(F) members of the national and provincial assemblies are expected to attend the meeting. The sources also indicated that after consultations for making nomination to contest the election for the Leader of the House, speaker and deputy speaker an announcement would also be made in this regard.
PML-Q Information Secretary Senator Tariq Azeem, told that all the allies of the PML-Q had accepted the invitation and would attend the luncheon meeting. “The Muttahida Qaumi Movement, PPP (Sherpao), National People’s Party and PML-F have confirmed their participation,” he added.
