PML-N Ministers may rejoin their offices before National Budget: Farooq

Spokesman Pakistan Muslim League (N) Siddiq-ul-Farooq on Tuesday said that if the issue of deposed judges is solved amicably the PML-N Ministers may return to their offices prior the National Budget.Talking to state TV in a telephonic interview the PML-N Spokesman said in such a situation Ishaq Dar may present the Budget in the National Assembly.Presently he said that incharge Finance Minister Naveed Qamar is all set to make the Budget speech.To a question he said the democratic governments have the ability to settle the contentious issues amicably.For example he said that in 1991 during the tenure of Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister the long-standing and contentious issue of NFC Award was settled among the provinces amicably.He said that vested interests have already turned Kalabagh dam a controversial project so Nawaz could not take initiative in this regard.The Spokesman said that there was a perception among some provinces that construction of Kalabagh dam was against their interest adding some provinces hold this view as genuine.
So it would be a wise move to defer the project for time being and democratic forces should remain busy in pursing all stakeholders to bring them onboard for execution of a project which would prove beneficial for all.
