PML-N for relations with India in light of Lahore DeclarationPakistan Muslim League PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan wants to boost the relations with India in the light of Lahore Declaration.
He said this while talking to Indian High Commission in Pakistan Satyabrata Pal at Raiwind Farm here. Nawaz Sharif said the circumstances called for the improvement in bilateral relations and the same is what people from both countries want, adding the economic well-being of the people in the two countries can be guaranteed only by peace in the region would. Nawaz Sharif said all the problems including Kashmir issue should be resolved through dialogues.
Indian High Commissioner congratulated Nawaz Sharif on his win in the recent elections.
On the occasion, N-League Secretary Information Ahsan Iqbal, former Finance minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Affairs Committee Coordinator Syed Mohammed Mehdi were also present in the meeting. After the meeting, the Indian High Commissioner left for India.
