Parachinar warring clans agree for truce till Jan. 15

Warring tribes have agreed to observe ceasefire till January 15 in Parachinar.

Security forces have detained three suspects in Swat as a curfew break announced Wednesday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm in the region except Piochar Valley and Wanai Bridge areas.

According to an ISPR statement conditions are peaceful in North Waziristan tribal region.

In Swat militants fired over a convoy of the security forces moving to Kabal from Kanju. The forces suffered no losses of life and arrested three suspected persons, the statement said.

Curfew continued at Parachinar, as warring tribes have agreed to observe ceasefire till January 15, the statement added.
