Nothing but judges restoration acceptable to nation: JI
Jamaat Islami Naib Amir Liaquat Baloch said the nation would not accept any constitutional package other than the restoration of the deposed judges and Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry.Commenting on the same, he said the stance of ministers and leadership Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is creating ambiguities, adding APDM and Lawyers movement will take the struggle for the independence of judiciary and its restoration to its rational end.Liaquat Baloch said PPP’s MPAs, by manhandling Arbab Ghulam Rahim, dishonoured the prestigious house.JI leader demanded the complete release of nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer, not just partial freedom.‘The foreign minister’s statement that the foreign policy of the former government would be followed up, is tantamount to buttressing Pervez Musharraf and USA,’ he added.
