Nawaz Sharif has said that he didnt believe in politics of deals but strongly believes in masses power.
In an interview with a private TV channel he said fair and free elections are the agenda of his party but transparent elections under Musharraf are not possible.
He said he is struggling for his country instead of party and striking and kind of deal with Musharraf is out of question. To a question Nawaz Sharif said national government means a neutral and minus Musharraf caretaker government. The political parties which do not believe that free and fair elections are possible under Musharraf will be able to take part in elections under a new and impartial minus Musharraf set-up, he claimed.
He said Q League has not roots among masses and it couldnt win majority seats if free and fair elections were held. Q Leaguers are not ready to canvass people in the name of Q League or Musharraf as it is not a party but a group of few people.
To a question about the seat adjustment he said, We have made some seat adjustment in Karachi only and there is no new development in this regard. There are only six vacant constituencies of the National Assembly in Punjab where PML-N party has not fielded its candidates and this ratio is bit greater in Sindh, he added.
To another query he said he has no personal grudge with Pervez Musharraf and he doesnt believe in politics of personal vendetta. He said Musharraf should take pity on the nation and should leave for the progress and development of the country.
