Musharraf to leave for China today

President Pervez Musharraf will leave today (Thursday) for China to attend the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics 2008.

It should be mentioned that President Musharraf was scheduled to leave for Beijing on Wednesday morning; however, he delayed his visit in view of national political situation.

According to sources, the president decided to attend the ceremony in view of special relation with neighbouring China; however, now he has cut down his visit from five to three day.

Chinese President Hu Jintao invited the president to attend the Olympics inaugural.
