Musharraf meets Shaukat Aziz in London

President Pervez Musharraf met the former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz last night (Sunday) and is slated today (Monday) to have a meeting the British Premier Gordon Brown.

The former Premier Shaukat Aziz convened a luncheon in honour of the President Pervez Musharraf. Pakistani High Commissioner Dr Maleeha Lodhi was also present there. Pervez Musharraf will visit British Premier Gordon Brown at his official residence 10 Downing Street, where both the leaders are expected to mull over the ongoing war on terror, Indo-Pak peace process and the advancements towards democracy in Pakistan.

President Musharraf is also scheduled to address Royal College of Defence Studies and later meet the overseas Pakistanis residing in Britain.

At the end of his eight-day Europe tour, the president will leave for Pakistan today (Monday).
