Mild quake jolts Pakistan

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted central Pakistan on Tuesday but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, officials said.

The epicenter of the quake was around 300 kilometers (200 miles) southwest of Peshawar, seismological department stated.

The quake originated at 10:56am (0556 GMT) from the border area between Punjab and Baluchistan provinces.
