Kohat put under section 144, all uplift work halted until polls
The District Nazim clamping section 144 halted the work on all the ongoing development projects in the district here.
The notification issued from the office of the Kohat District Nazim, Saifullah Khan said that the decision would remain enforced on all national and provincial development projects, which was intended to ensure that no election candidates could take the political mileage from them. Any new or ongoing development projects of Khushhal Pakistan (one) and Education NWFP Pakistan would remain completely suspended and even the electricity transformer or electric poles’ import and installation during this period could not be made.
