Justice Nawaz Abbasi takes oath as acting CJ

Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi, senior-most Judge of the Supreme Court took the oath as Acting Chief Justice of Pakistan today (Thursday). Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokhar has administered the oath. Chief Justice of Pakistan Abdul Hameed Dogar had left for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah on Wednesday. Supreme Court judges, attorney general and other lawyers attended the oath-taking ceremony.
