JUI-F to support move for impeachment

JUI-F central Ameer Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman on Tuesday said his party will support any move in the National Assembly for impeachment of the president as the party is a coalition partner of the government.
He stated this during a press conference at the residence of Maulana Rasheed Ahmed Ludhianvi, member, central executive committee of JUI-F here.Chief Whip in the Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoori Haideri and other office bearers of the party were also present. Fazal-ur-Rehman said if possible, the deposed judges and judiciary be restored to Nov 2 position through an executive order. He urged the ruling coalition partners to undertake concerted efforts for strengthening democracy and institutions in the country and to weed out autocratic elements from power corridors. In this context he stressed that present assemblies must complete their tenure. To a question he said his party was not opposed to the long march of the lawyers as he was part of the government.
