Pakistan Muslim League-N central leader, Javed Hashmi has said that the government wanted to postpone elections for benefiting the Muslim League-Q, but it would not be let happened.
Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, commenting on the Election Commission’s announcement as regards to their planned consultations with the political parties, told Geo News in a chat that the Q-League could not face the people now and, therefore, elections were being put off. He said that the Muslim League-N wanted the elections to be held on January 8 and it would wholeheartedly participate in it.
Javed Hashmi said that he knew that the elections would not be fair and transparent, yet his party would participate in the elections, however, the government now for saving the Q-League wanted to getaway from the elections.
Javed Hashmi said that if the government postpones the elections, then the future line of action would be finalized in consultations with the other political parties
