Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki will head to Pakistan on Friday to pay respects to the martyred former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, the state news agency IRNA reported.
Mottaki will meet President Pervez Musharraf, interim Prime Minister Mohammedmian Soomro and interim Foreign Minister Inam ul Haque, IRNA cited the public relations department of the Iranian embassy in Islamabad as saying.
During his one-day visit, Mottaki will also pay his respects to Benazir Bhutto at her grave in the southern province of Sindh.
Iranian officials have condemned Benazir’s martyrdom as a “terrorist” action.
